How to Get to the One Day Adventure Pass
We suggest always following a Google Maps link or Waze when trying to travel around Costa Rica. This is the easiest way to ensure you arrive at the One Day Adventure Pass in the most efficient way.
After booking you will receive a confirmation email with a Google Maps link to the location and photos to help guide you as well.
The One Day Adventure Pass is located in the Rincon de la Vieja area, just down the road from Rincon de la Vieja National Park. National Park entry tickets are NOT necessary to attend this tour.
Transportation Options
Tour with Transportation Included
If you don’t have your own vehicle, we’ve got you covered! We provide transportation for groups of 2+. We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in the surrounding areas and take you to the tour location. Your driver will securely store your belongings in the vehicle during the tour. Afterward, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation, or we can drop you off at a different location if you’d like to explore more of Costa Rica. A tour with transportation is a great way to make the most of your travel days in Costa Rica.
You can use our automated system to book this tour. You will select where you are staying, select the Adventure Day Passes for the tour category and then One Day Adventure Pass for your tour. Then fill out the rest of the information on the page. If your location is not listed on the page, you can also request a customized quote. Self Drive Tour
If you have your own transportation to the tour location, you can book a self-drive tour. This means that you will drive yourself to the location and then your tour guide will meet you at the tour. When booking this option, you will receive instructions in your confirmation email for how to get to here.
Itinerary for the One Day Adventure Pass
Please keep in mind, the time and order of the activities can vary. Based off the weather and number of reservations to provide the optimal experience.

9:00 AM – Check-In and Orientation: Arrive at the park and meet your guide who will explain the day’s activities.
9:15 AM – Zip Lining Adventure: Start your day with an adrenaline rush as you zip-line across 8 different lines, enjoying breathtaking views.
10:30 PM – Horseback Riding: Embark on a relaxing horseback ride through scenic park trails.
11:30 AM – River Tubing: Cool off with an exciting river tubing experience, navigating through gentle rapids and calm stretches.
1:00 PM – Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch to refuel for the afternoon.

Access to Onsite Amenities
Our tour grounds are packed with amenities available to you at all times. The front office is a great place to inquire about upcoming tours, purchase tour add-ons, and have any of your questions answered with a smile! Directly located next to the dining hall is our jungle bar where guests are welcome to loosen up and unwind! If there’s anything you wish to leave behind prior or during the tour, your personal or provided vehicle transportation is a safe place to keep it. Our private parking lots are securely guarded throughout the day. There are accessible bathrooms located inside the park for your convenience.
Costa Rican Lunch
Indulge in an authentic Costa Rican lunch with options for all dietary needs! Lunch is served buffet style from our local chefs. With rich agriculture, our meals are served farm to plate packed with vitamins and nutrients. If you have any questions regarding ingredients or food allergens please communicate this to your guide and they will make sure you are well taken care of.

Parking
If you have provided your own transportation, please park in our private lot! For One Day Adventure Passes with provided transportation, your driver will drop you off at the welcome center.
Meeting Your Guide
Your guide will be ready and waiting to meet you at the welcome center! Now is a good time to inform your guide of any concerns you may have regarding the tour.
Check in Process
After confirming your reservation and signing the safety waiver, your group will be given any necessary equipment for your first adventure. If you would like to purchase photography add ons, this would be a great time to do so.

Zip Lining
This one day adventure pass offers an exhilarating ride through the rain forest and over rivers via 8 different lines. Never been ziplining before? Not to worry, our guides are professionally trained and will show you the ropes. If at any point, for any reason, you do not wish to continue the journey through the rainforest via zipline, not to worry! You always have the option to explore via trail hiking and reunite with the rest of the group at the end of the 8th line!
Hanging Bridges
Experience breathtaking panoramic views between activities while crossing our hanging bridges! Only 5 guests are permitted to cross at once so be sure to follow your guide’s instructions.
White Water River Tubing
Float down the rapids in your own inner tube! Throughout the ride, guides will be positioned to push you in the right direction! If we have received a lot of rain prior to your tour, river tubing will be switched to rafting for safety measures. A guide will join you and up to one other guest in a raft and paddle you safely through the rapids!
Horse Back Riding
Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride through the Costa Rican countryside via horseback! Our guides will find the perfect horse for every guest to ensure a comfortable ride while observing nature’s plants and wildlife. For this activity we recommend guests wear pants or shorts that end right above the kneecap.
Lunch
Recharge with an authentic Costa-Rican lunch buffet! This buffet includes a variety of local dishes (including vegan options) to rejuvenate and replenish! If you have any dietary restrictions, be sure to let your guide know before lunch and we will be sure to accommodate!
Hot Springs and Sauna
The perfect end to the perfect day, a nice soak in our natural hot springs or sweat in our authentic sauna. Choose which temperature best suits you between our 3 pools. Take your time here and let your body relax after an action packed day!
Mud Bath
Cover your face and body in volcanic mud for a natural detox! This local mud is one of Costa Rica’s best kept secrets amongst locals for its healing properties. Let the mud sit for at least 5 minutes to reap the benefits!

Where can I leave my belongings during the One Day Adventure Pass if I’ve chosen the package with transportation included?
You may leave your things in the van with your driver, they will be safe there! If you need to change/grab something from the car at any point you will be able to.
If I drive myself, is it safe to leave my belongings in my car?
Yes, there is private parking that is safe to leave your belongings in for the tour.
Does everyone need to participate in all activities?
No, each guest is free to participate in as little or as many activities as desired and you can hang out at the pool bar while the rest of your group does the activity.
Can you see the volcano during the One Day Adventure Pass?
You will not be up close to the volcano but at certian points such as ziplining you can see the volcano in the distance.
What is the maximum or minimum weight for ziplining?
The maximum weight for ziplining is 300lbs; there is no minimum weight as long as the gear fits appropiately.
What is the minimum age for the tour?
The minimum age for ziplining is 6 years old but children younger can participate in the other activities, if you have questions about age reach out via the live chat.
Can I carry my phone throughout the tour?
It is highly advised to not personally carry your phone for the complete duration of the tour as it will get wet and may fall. However, your tour guide will be equipped with a dry bag and more than happy to snap some photos of your group when possible. It is also highly recommended to purchase our professional photography package for ensured quality and quantity when it comes to capturing moments throughout the one day adventure pass package!
